Procurement Specialist

Do you have proven expertise in sourcing, vendor management, procurement planning and ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining quality and cost efficiency? Our client is a leading UAE-based specialist in architectural aluminium, glass, façade engineering and metal fabrication solutions with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility delivering landmark projects across the UAE. Negotiation Microsoft office Communication Problem-solving Technical Expertise Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end procurement process for aluminium, glass and construction materials. Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, pricing and delivery terms. Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations and issue Purchase Orders in accordance with company procurement procedures. Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Projects and Stores teams to ensure timely procurement of materials. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and material quality to ensure project requirements are met. Track purchase orders and expedite deliveries to avoid project or production delays. Maintain procurement records, contracts, vendor databases and purchasing documentation. Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations and quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within the Construction, Contracting, Aluminium, Glass or Façade industry in the GCC. Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, façade accessories and construction materials. Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation and procurement planning. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics. Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills. Strong understanding of import/export procedures and logistics coordination is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. UAE Driving License is preferred. Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
