Project Engineer - Power & Machines

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical & commercial proposals
• Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules
• Review of Tender documents on receipt to ensure its completeness
• Submitting completed tender proposals to meet customer deadlines
• Work with our sales team to professionally represent the company at a customer, gather data, and ask the right questions to define a project
• Attend clarification meetings with Client when required
• Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements
• Cost analysis and estimating
• Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities
• Prepare weekly and Monthly reports to his direct manager
• Obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations Additional duties may be assigned, as required

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Power Engineering
• Negotiations Skills
• Communications Skills
• Experience of dealing with complex tenders
• General MS Office Program skills
• Knowledge on AutoCAD Drawing. 2-5 Years in a similar position
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
