Project Manager-Payments

Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex payment projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, meticulously managing stakeholder expectations throughout the lifecycle. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking for payment initiatives. Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies specific to payment systems, payment gateways, and financial regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Significant experience in Payments and related banking projects, particularly within the UAE/GCC region. 10+ years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the Banking sector. Strong understanding of internationally accepted Project Management methodologies and practices, including Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile. PMI certification or equivalent is an advantage. Techno-functional expertise with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, solve complex problems, and demonstrate strong negotiation skills. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MPP) is mandatory. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to manage stakeholders at multiple levels, including business heads, functional heads, and senior management. Create and execute project work plans in collaboration with project teams while closely monitoring deliverables and milestones. Manage day-to-day project operations and proactively resolve issues to ensure timely project delivery. Effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes. Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained. Closely monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management. Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, risks, challenges, and mitigation plans. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Strong understanding of project performance monitoring principles, KPIs, and project metrics. In-depth knowledge of banking processes and technology, with experience working across cross-functional teams. Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, including engagement with senior leadership. Proven experience managing project teams of 5–10 or more members. Employment Type Full-time
