Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing materials, products, services for the assigned project, as well as the associated construction/production/manufacturing/installation etc process. Also responsible for conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and reporting thereof. Overall, a Quality Control Inspector, is responsible for making sure that the material/product/service meets the expected standards before being sent to the customer so as to arrest/reduce the chances of failure/non conformity. Responsible for all day to day activities and execution of all Quality Control plans for the assigned project in line with organizational and project/location specific QMS/CQP/PQP, international standards (ISO etc), client and statutory requirements Responsible to perform various functional quality assessments & inspections on input samples (materials, products, services) and accept/reject based on specified internal/external criteria and defined procedures. Responsible to assess & inspect output samples (materials, products, services) and accept/reject based on specified internal/external criteria and defined procedures. Responsible to initiate corrective actions on non-conformities and monitor & track them to completion Responsible to define functional inspection and test processes and document inspection outcomes by completing detailed inspection reports and performance records. Responsible to measure, track and monitor improvements to the construction/production/manufacturing/installation etc process to ensure quality control Responsible for all individual and specific departmental productivity targets, financial objectives, KPIs and attainment thereof. Other tasks: Promoting Group Values, Code of Conduct and associated policies Participating and providing positive contribution to technical, commercial, planning, safety and quality performance of the organization and in accordance with Client, Contractual, regulatory requirements Undertaking any other responsibilities as directed and mutually agreed with the Line Management Desired Candidate Profile Responsible for execution of Quality inspections as per SP 1171, Contract quality control plans and inspection test packs. He/she shall report to the relevant area Quality Engineer. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional Certifications Welding Inspection Qualification (CSWIP 3.1 or AWS- CWI) or equivalent ASNT Level 2 or equivalent in UT, RT, PT, MT. Certification in Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, ISO, Total Quality Management or equivalent (preferred) B_Gas Certification. Skills A proven work experience as a Welding QCI Familiarity with latest quality-oriented trends in the industry. Knowledge of best practices Strong writing and record keeping abilities. Strong IT skills. Strong communication, planning, organizing and leadership skills. Key details of the position: Site-based job without family status Food, accommodation and transportation will be provided by the company Mandatory - Oil & Gas Experience & The role requires significant experience in pipelines, Cross Country Pipelines and flowlines and is offered on a long-term basis employment.
