Quality Lead
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Lead the implementation of the Project Quality Management Program throughout the Train 4 Restoration Project. Ensure effective implementation of the EPC Contractor's Quality Management System (QMS) during construction activities. Monitor and oversee construction quality surveillance and inspection activities to ensure compliance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Conduct Company quality inspections, construction assessments, and quality verification activities at site. Review and provide technical comments on Project Quality Plans, ITPs, procedures, and quality documentation submitted by Contractors. Coordinate with Construction, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning teams to ensure quality compliance throughout project execution. Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements. Prepare quality reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for project management. Support vendor inspections and maintain effective communication with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned and promoting best quality practices across the project. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science. Additional certifications in Quality, Welding Inspection, or NDE will be an advantage. Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience within the Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or EPC industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Strong experience with Construction Quality Management Systems (QMS), QA/QC processes, quality surveillance, inspections, and contractor quality management. Hands-on experience reviewing Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), construction procedures, and quality documentation. Sound knowledge of international codes and standards such as ISO, ASME, API, ASTM, and industry best practices. Experience working with EPC Contractors, Subcontractors, Vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams. Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Strong report writing, planning, and coordination abilities with high attention to detail. Previous experience on large-scale LNG or Oil & Gas construction projects is highly preferred. GCC and Qatar project experience will be an added advantage.
