Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Estimation Engineer – Civil Construction

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for new buildings and construction projects, from foundation to roof. Calculate quantities for excavation, earthwork, PCC, RCC, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, and other civil works. Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material requirement lists. Calculate the required quantities of cement, sand, aggregate, steel reinforcement, concrete, blocks, tiles, waterproofing materials, and other construction materials. Read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings. Prepare material take-off sheets, estimation reports, and cost breakdowns. Estimate labor requirements, material costs, and overall civil construction costs. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to obtain accurate pricing and quantities. Identify wastage allowances and optimize material requirements to control project costs. Verify quantities against drawings, specifications, and revisions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in building construction estimation or quantity surveying. Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and materials. Ability to independently estimate a complete building project from foundation to rooftop. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; experience with estimation software is an advantage. Strong analytical, mathematical, documentation, and cost-calculation skills. UAE construction experience and knowledge of local material rates are preferred. Employment Type Full-time
