React Native Mobile Developer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for a high-performance React Native Developer to lead the frontend architecture of our gamified football training application. In this role, you will build a dynamic, fluid user interface packed with animations and custom canvases. You will also manage the mobile device's camera pipeline, ensuring seamless hand-offs between local video recordings, on-device AI wrappers, and our backend services. Core Responsibilities Video & Device Architecture: Implement robust local video recording workflows using libraries like react-native-vision-camera. Native Thread Hand-off: Optimize asynchronous background file tasks, ensuring heavy data streams (like video pathways and coordinate arrays) don't lock or freeze the JavaScript thread. Gamification & High-Performance UI: Build smooth animations, custom progress tracking visuals, and custom skeleton canvas overlays using react-native-reanimated and React Native Skia. Hands-Free UX: Integrate highly stable cross-platform audio systems to handle audio-driven countdowns and training cues for players who are far away from the phone. Technical Requirements React Native Expertise: Minimum 3+ years of professional React Native development experience. Native Bridging Capabilities: Comfort working with Native Modules or TurboModules to interact with Swift/Kotlin wrappers for AI models (CoreML / TensorFlow Lite). State & Data Management: Strong understanding of processing large typed data arrays efficiently without degrading rendering performance. Bonus Points: Experience developing sports tracking, health, fitness, or highly interactive gaming/gamified applications.
