Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Global Fertiliser Market Coverage Build, maintain and develop global supply and demand analysis for fertiliser markets. Monitor fertiliser production, consumption, trade flows, inventories, prices, policy developments and other relevant market drivers. Produce regular fertiliser market reports, forecasts and in-depth analysis. Develop datasets, analytical tools and repeatable workflows supporting fertiliser market coverage. Translate complex market developments and data into clear, timely and actionable insights for customers. Price Assessments and Market Coverage Support price assessments and associated market commentaries for the European vegetable oils, meals and grains markets. Produce price assessments and market commentaries in accordance with LSEG Commodity Research methodologies, editorial guidelines and applicable governance requirements. Maintain the accuracy, consistency and market relevance of LSEG agriculture price assessments and related content. Contribute to regular agriculture market reports and ad hoc analytical publications. Industry Engagement and Collaboration Build and maintain relationships with relevant fertiliser and agricultural commodity market participants. Represent LSEG at industry events and present market insights to customers and stakeholders. Collaborate with research, product, sales and technology teams to strengthen existing coverage and respond to customer needs. Desired Candidate Profile Strong understanding of physical commodity markets, including price formation and trade flows. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and produce well-supported conclusions. Minimum two years experience in agricultural or commodity markets, with strong knowledge of global fertiliser supply, demand, trade and pricing dynamics. Fluent written and spoken English, including the ability to produce publication-quality market analysis. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with industry participants and customers. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across regions, while delivering accurate work to recurring deadlines. Price assessment experience would be a strong advantage. Proficiency in Python for data analysis and workflow automation would be a strong advantage. French-language proficiency would be an advantage.
