Rigging Supervisor

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Rigging Supervisor Qualification: Degree / Diploma in Engg 5 -10 years experience in the identification and controlling of mechanical/ instrumentation/ electrical materials used for Oil & Gas Projects. Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas/petrochemical industry as Rigging Supervisor Must have a good understanding of QA/QC and HSE compliance procedures, HSSE requirements on lifting equipment. Must be able to examine the loads, estimate the size and weight. Familiar with rigger communication methods, (hand signals, radios etc) Capable of inspecting the slings, ropes, hooks and lifting gears for damages such as cracks, wear, corrosion and report. Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions in the rigger trade.
