Road Design Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop horizontal and vertical geometric alignments for highways, local roads, and intersections. Utilize Civil 3D to create detailed corridor models, grading plans, and cross-sections. Conduct road safety audits and ensure designs comply with local authority manuals (e.g., RTA, DMT, DDA). Manage utility coordination to resolve clashes between road profiles and underground networks. Prepare technical reports, pavement design justifications, and traffic signage/marking layouts. Liaise with local government authorities for design approvals and NOCs. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Minimum 5+ years of experience in road/highway design consultancy. Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (Corridors, Grading, Assemblies). Strong knowledge of AASHTO, DMRB, and local authority road design manuals. Experience in intersection design, roundabout geometry, and pavement marking/signage design. Proven track record in securing project approvals from local authorities. Must be in the UAE.
