Sales Engineer – Chemical & Process Solutions

Commercial & Technical Sales: Identify, cultivate, and manage sales leads for refining/petrochemical catalysts, adsorbents, ceramic media, and process technology offerings across Oman industrial accounts. Technical Proposals & Clarifications: Review client RFQs (Request for Quotations), understand feedstocks and processing constraints, coordinate technical design reviews, and compile compliant commercial/technical bids. Client Relationship Management: Maintain active contact with process engineers, procurement officers, and plant managers at key Omani industrial sites. Market & Tender Tracking: Track upcoming turnaround/shutdown schedules, catalyst replacement cycles, and major operational upgrade tenders across Oman. Technical Presentations & Product Demos: Present technology capabilities, unit performance optimization cases, and yield/selectivity benefits to client engineering teams. Commercial Execution: Follow up on bids, lead contract negotiations, manage purchase order processing, and ensure smooth delivery schedules in coordination with logistics and field service teams. Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (Petroleum Engineering with relevant process experience).

Experience

1 to 4 years in technical sales, proposal engineering, or unit operations within the refining, gas processing, or petrochemical sectors. Technical Familiarity: Exposure to technology domains (e.g., Hydroprocessing, Catalytic Reforming, Sorbex/Adsorption separation, Molecular Sieves, Hydrogen production, or Gas Treatment).
