SAP ABAP Developer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic technology team in Cairo. In this role, you will design, develop, and support custom ABAP solutions and SAP Fiori/UI5 applications to meet evolving business needs. You will collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality code and ensure seamless integration with SAP modules. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements Develop and customize SAP Fiori and UI5 applications according to business requirements Optimize existing code and perform performance tuning for ABAP and database operations Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and non-production environments Document technical designs, development tasks, and configuration settings Participate in project planning, estimation, and status reporting Position Details Position Title: SAP ABAP Developer Location: Cairo, Egypt Industry: Information Technology (IT) / Software Experience Required: 1+ years' Desired Candidate Profile 1 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development Proven expertise in ABAP programming, including OO ABAP and performance optimization Experience developing SAP Fiori and UI5 applications using SAP Gateway and OData services Strong understanding of SAP data model, table structures, and integration technologies Working knowledge of SAP enhancement framework, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Fluency in English and strong communication skills SAP certification in ABAP Development or SAP Fiori Experience with SAP HANA database and CDS views Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS Previous exposure to SAP modules such as MM, SD, or FI Ability to mentor junior developers and lead small technical workstreams Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords SAP ABAP Developer Get real-time job updates only on our App
