Security Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Overview We are seeking an experienced On-Site Security Engineer with strong expertise in API gateway security, network security technologies, and SIEM integration. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in securing enterprise API infrastructure, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage API Gateway security solutions using platforms such as F5, Kong, and IBM DataPower Configure and maintain IDS/IPS systems to detect and prevent security threats Integrate security tools and infrastructure with SIEM platforms for real-time monitoring and incident response Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to ensure secure system design Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis across API and network layers Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security frameworks Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and security audit artifacts Required Skills & Expertise Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and network security Strong expertise in: API Gateway Security (F5, Kong, IBM DataPower) IDS/IPS technologies SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) Experience with security integration and log management Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and secure architectures Hands-on experience in incident response and threat analysis Certifications (Mandatory) One or more of the following: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) Or equivalent recognized cybersecurity certification Preferred Qualifications Experience working in enterprise or government environments Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area Engineering Keywords Security Engineer Get real-time job updates only on our App
