Security Patch & DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage end-to-end patch deployment across mission-critical banking applications including core banking, corporate banking, retail banking, and digital platforms Execute accelerated software patch releases ensuring minimal downtime and zero disruption to production systems Design, develop, and execute automated regression testing for validating patches and updates Identify, analyze, and remediate application and API vulnerabilities across enterprise systems Ensure security compliance aligned with OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10 Integrate patch validation and security testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Security, and application teams for safe and controlled production releases Support release management activities including deployment, validation, rollback planning, and post-release monitoring Prepare release documentation including release notes, impact analysis, and risk assessments Monitor production environments post-deployment and ensure rapid issue resolution Ensure adherence to secure SDLC and banking regulatory standards Desired Candidate Profile 5–8 years of experience in DevSecOps, QA automation, application security, or software maintenance Strong experience in patch management and enterprise release processes Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps Strong understanding of API security testing (REST and SOAP APIs) Experience in automated regression testing frameworks and test automation tools Good knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10 Experience in vulnerability management and remediation processes Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell is preferred Experience in banking or financial services domain is highly preferred Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and production support skills Ability to work in fast-paced, high-risk production environments Employment Type Full Time Company Industry BankingFinancial ServicesBroking Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords DevSecOpsPatch ManagementSoftware Release ManagementApplication SecurityVulnerability ManagementSecure SDLCOWASP Top 10API Security TestingCI/CD Validation TestingJenkinsAzure DevOpsPython Get real-time job updates only on our App
