Senior Accountant

We re Hiring: Senior Accountant A shipping and sourcing company in Jounieh is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to establish and lead its accounting department, develop financial procedures, and oversee daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up the accounting department from scratch, including workflows, reporting structure, internal controls.... Manage daily accounting entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer balances
• Monitor cash flow and oversee cashier transactions
• Handle month-end closing and prepare financial reports for management
• Coordinate tax declarations, audits, and statutory requirements with the external auditor
• Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proven experience establishing an accounting department from scratch
• Experience in shipping or freight forwarding companies is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting and tax requirements
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
