Senior Chemist

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Forensic laboratory analysis of chemical samples collected from explosion scenes to identify the explosive substance and its composition. Visit incident scenes, collect evidence and chemical residues using scientific methods that prevent sample contamination. Provide technical and analytical consultation to investigation teams regarding identified substances and safe handling methods. Conduct research on advanced chemical compounds used in explosives and develop methods to neutralize their effects. Prepare accurate and legally documented technical reports for judicial and security authorities. Supervise storage and transportation of sensitive chemical materials and ensure environmental and personnel safety standards. Desired Candidate Profile Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset, capable of addressing complex challenges creatively and effectively. A proactive approach to continuous learning, staying informed about evolving chemistry practices and technologies. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
