Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities What You'll Do - Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on Azure - Build and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ensuring consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled deployments - Deploy, operate, and scale containerized workloads using Kubernetes (AKS) - Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and safe software delivery - Monitor system health, performance, and cost, and proactively identify areas for optimization - Implement infrastructure security best practices, including Azure RBAC and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) policies, network segmentation, and secrets management - Collaborate with software engineering teams to support application deployment needs and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues - Participate in on-call rotation and incident response, driving root-cause analysis and long-term fixes - Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures - Evaluate new tools, services, and practices to continuously improve the reliability and efficiency of the cloud platform - Mentor other engineers on cloud best practices and infrastructure-as-code standards Desired Candidate Profile What We're Looking For - 5+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering - Strong hands-on experience with Azure (Virtual Machines, Virtual Network, Microsoft Entra ID, Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, AKS, etc.) - Proven experience writing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code with Terraform - Solid experience deploying and managing workloads on Kubernetes (AKS or self-managed) - Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar) - Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and container registries (Azure Container Registry) - Understanding of networking fundamentals (VNets, subnets, load balancing, DNS, network security groups) - Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar) - Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go) - Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to operate effectively in production incident scenarios - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams Nice to Have - Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Ate) - Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux) - Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) - Familiarity with multi-subscription Azure architectures and Azure Management Groups - Experience with cost optimization / FinOps practices - Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area IT Software Keywords Senior Cloud Engineer Get real-time job updates only on our App
