Job Overview
Lead and manage end-to-end tendering, RFI, EOI, RFQ/RFP and techno-commercial proposal activities, from inquiry through final submission and award Review tender documents, scopes of work, technical specifications and commercial terms to identify requirements, risks, deviations and clarification needs. Coordinate with Sales, Technical/R&D, Supply Chain, Production, Finance and QHSE to obtain accurate technical and commercial inputs. Evaluate raw material, logistics, production, manpower and other relevant costs to establish competitive and commercially viable pricing. Prepare detailed costing, pricing, quotations and commercial proposals, including margin and profitability analysis. Review contracts, purchase orders and tender awards to identify commercial risks, deviations, obligations and pricing discrepancies. Support Management in bid/no-bid evaluations, commercial negotiations, pricing decisions, and approval processes. Coordinate with customers regarding commercial clarifications, negotiations, quotations and tender requirements. Support contract renewals, extensions, variations and amendments, including preparation of related commercial documentation. Monitor market pricing, commercial trends and competitor information to support pricing and business decisions. Maintain accurate and confidential records of tenders, quotations, costing, contracts, approvals and commercial correspondence. Ensure all commercial activities comply with company procedures, approval requirements and customer/tender conditions. Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of commercial policies, procedures, approval processes and controls. Manage the prequalification and registration of the company, its products and services with customers, government entities and relevant industry organizations. Evaluate potential international manufacturers, technology providers and service companies based on their capabilities, market potential, commercial suitability and strategic fit with the company. Review, revise and support the negotiation of agency, distributorship, representation, licensing, confidentiality (NDA), memorandum of understanding (MOU) and other commercial agreements, identifying key commercial risks and coordinating legal review when required. Support the identification and development of new products, services, principals and international business partnerships. Coordinate the preparation of company profiles, product presentations, capability statements and other commercial marketing materials. Support market-development activities, customer presentations, exhibitions, conferences and product-launch initiatives in coordination with Sales and Technical teams. Develop and maintain tender trackers, costing models, prequalification records, agency records and commercial submission files.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline. Additional professional qualifications in commercial management, contracts, procurement, marketing or business development would be an advantage. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in commercial management, tendering, costing, prequalification, contract administration or business development, preferably within the oil and gas, oilfield services, chemicals or industrial sectors. Demonstrated experience in preparing tenders, commercial proposals, pricing models, profitability analyses and prequalification submissions. Experience in evaluating international suppliers or principals and reviewing agency, distributorship or commercial cooperation agreements. Good understanding of contract terms, commercial risks, procurement processes, vendor registration and bid-evaluation requirements. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant commercial or ERP systems. Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines. Excellent written and spoken English, with strong business communication, report-writing and presentation skills. Employment Type Full-time
