Senior Data Scientist / ML Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Reporting to the Strategy and Development Department, the Data Lab brings together expertise in Data Science, AI, and Software Engineering to design, develop, and deploy operational solutions that improve the company's processes, products, and services. The team comprises around thirty people based in Paris, Toronto, and Casablanca. The Data Lab strives to implement best development practices, primarily in Python but also in React and Java, and manages CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications and APIs on Docker/Kubernetes infrastructures, Apache Airflow, and in the Cloud. Knowledge sharing through presentations among team members, training, and dedicated time for technology monitoring are integral to the Data Lab's operations. The use cases of data science are varied and result in concrete implementations in internal tools and client applications, for example: Scoring the risk of business failure; Extracting information from images and documents; Building and using knowledge graphs; Search engines specializing in business identification; Financial modeling and simulations. Your responsibilities: You will join the Coface Data Lab team and most often work in pairs or small teams on innovative projects. You will design and fully develop solutions that can implement Machine Learning technologies, from deployment on our container infrastructure or in the cloud, to production monitoring. You will contribute to technology monitoring. Desired Candidate Profile Engineering degree or equivalent in Data Science: supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, NLP Two or more years of experience in a similar role My mastery of Python, its ecosystem, and best practices for code review and continuous integration Using Linux and Git Autonomy, curiosity, rigor English: projects in international contexts Desired skills: Experience in Python application development with high quality standards; Implementation of CI/CD pipelines; Experience in Docker/Kubernetes deployment and cloud applications; Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases (document, graph).
