Senior Financial Accountant

Lebanon Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to support financial planning and decision-making. Key Responsibilities * Handle senior-level accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records. * Prepare and review financial statements and management reports. * Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and monthly closing procedures. * Analyze financial performance, profitability, costs, and expenses. * Assist the Financial Manager in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. * Monitor cash flow and support financial planning. * Identify financial trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization. * Prepare financial analyses and reports to support management decisions. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable financial regulations. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 5 7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior accounting role. * Previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Familiarity with Lebanese accounting and taxation regulations. * Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are considered an advantage. Required Skills * Strong financial and analytical skills. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Ability to interpret financial statements and analyze financial data. * Experience with accounting software and ERP systems. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. * Good organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Strong communication and reporting skills. * High level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
