Senior Network Engineer

Design and implement secure, scalable network solutions to meet business requirements. Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise routers and switches (primarily Juniper). Implement and support routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP). Administer network security devices, including FortiGate firewalls (policies, NAT, VPNs). Deploy and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers to ensure high availability and optimized application delivery. Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and proactively resolve issues. Troubleshoot complex network incidents using packet analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump). Plan and execute network capacity upgrades and bandwidth optimization. Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and change records. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and mentor junior network engineers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 networking, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware, especially Juniper. Proven expertise in firewall management and VPN configurations (Fortinet FortiGate). Experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers, including traffic management and SSL offloading. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Exposure to network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus. Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
