About the Role We are looking for a Senior PL/SQL Developer to join a leading Saudi bank's technology team, designing and maintaining high-performance data solutions for the Operational Data Store (ODS) environment. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to a developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL depth and prior exposure to banking or financial-services data environments, who can work independently on complex data pipelines feeding core banking systems into the ODS. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Build and maintain ETL/data-load routines feeding the ODS from core banking and source systems. Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and execution-plan analysis. Design data models and support data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation activities. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across ODS and downstream reporting systems. Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather data requirements and translate them into database solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues within agreed SLAs. Prepare technical documentation, data dictionaries, and unit/system test cases. Requirements 7+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience. Strong experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), including performance tuning and indexing strategies. Solid understanding of data warehousing/ODS concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling. Experience working with large-scale banking data (core banking, CRM, AML, or similar). Proficiency in shell scripting (Unix/Linux) for job scheduling and automation. Strong analytical skills with high attention to data accuracy and completeness.
