Senior Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist with a strong background in IT procurement to manage sourcing, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement activities related to software, hardware, IT services, and technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive procurement experience and a proven track record in the IT industry. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement activities for IT products and services. Source and evaluate suppliers for hardware, software, cloud services, licensing, maintenance contracts, and IT projects. Lead commercial negotiations to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms. Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tenders. Analyze vendor quotations and conduct commercial evaluations. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any procurement-related issues. Track procurement KPIs and prepare management reports. Support budgeting and cost optimization initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications Bachelor s degree in commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or any related commercial field. 7 10 years of experience in Procurement, with significant experience in IT procurement. Previous experience working in the IT industry is mandatory. Strong knowledge of IT products, software licensing models, cloud services, and technology procurement practices. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. A Plus : Experience handling local and international vendors. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong commercial acumen and cost optimization mindset. Experience with procurement automation tools and sourcing platforms.
