Senior Project Manager

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Project Delivery Lead multiple construction projects from planning through completion and handover. Develop project execution plans, budgets, schedules, resource plans and delivery milestones. Monitor project progress and implement recovery plans where delays arise. Identify technical, commercial and operational risks and implement mitigation measures. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, approved drawings and project specifications. Construction and Site Management Oversee civil, structural, architectural, MEP and finishing works. Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings and contractor reviews. Coordinate consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams. Resolve site-level technical and delivery issues promptly. Ensure contractors meet agreed schedule, quality, safety and performance expectations. Budget and Commercial Control Monitor project budgets, expenditure, forecasts and cash-flow requirements. Review variations, claims, cost reports and commercial risks. Implement cost-control measures and reduce unnecessary waste or rework. Coordinate project procurement and resource allocation. Provide accurate cost and progress reports to senior management. Quality, Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, company policies and quality standards. Monitor inspections, testing, defects and non-conformance reports. Implement corrective and preventive actions. Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites. Ensure construction activities comply with applicable regulations and international standards. Team and Stakeholder Leadership Lead, mentor and develop project engineers, supervisors and site teams. Establish clear responsibilities, performance expectations and accountability. Serve as a key contact for clients, consultants and senior stakeholders. Provide regular reports on progress, budget, risks, quality, safety and decisions required. Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve project-related issues professionally. Desired Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: Experience delivering projects valued above USD 30 million. Strong international or multicultural project exposure. Experience establishing project controls, reporting systems and construction procedures. A practical, site-focused leadership style. Strong commercial judgment and decision-making ability. The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
