Senior Q.C. Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Title: Senior Q.C. Engineer (Construction) Location: UAE Industry: Construction Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Q.C. Engineer to join our construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality control for construction projects, ensuring all works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor the Project Quality Control Plan. Conduct inspections of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, including Inspection Requests (IRs), Method Statements, ITPs, NCRs, and quality reports. Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams for inspections and approvals. Identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with relevant international standards, local regulations, and project quality requirements. Monitor material approvals, testing activities, and laboratory reports. Support project audits and ensure all quality records are maintained accurately. Provide guidance to site engineers and QA/QC staff to achieve project quality objectives. Desired Candidate Profile Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years of total professional experience in the construction industry. Minimum 5 years of UAE construction experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, ITPs, NCRs, Method Statements, and construction quality standards. Experience working on large-scale building or infrastructure projects. Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills. Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation.
