Senior Sales Manager – Electrical Materials
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales opportunities, expanding the customer base, strengthening relationships with contractors, EPCs, consultants, traders, and end users, and driving profitable sales growth across Saudi Arabia. This role requires a commercially strong candidate with solid technical understanding of electrical materials, project specifications, approvals, BOQs, and the sales cycle in industrial and construction projects. Develop and execute sales plans for the company's electrical materials product range Identify and secure new business opportunities with EPC contractors, MEP contractors, electrical contractors, industrial clients, utilities, and traders Promote products including earthing systems, lightning protection systems, exothermic welding products, cable management systems, cable glands, lugs, and related accessories Review project requirements, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents to identify sales opportunities Coordinate with technical, production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure proper pricing, delivery, and customer support Manage customer relationships from enquiry stage through quotation, negotiation, order confirmation, delivery, and collection Follow up on vendor registrations, prequalification requirements, technical submittals, and client approvals Build and manage a strong pipeline of project and distributor sales opportunities Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing levels, and customer requirements Ensure sales are achieved with acceptable margins, payment terms, and credit discipline Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and opportunity updates for management Desired Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is technically knowledgeable, commercially driven, and capable of opening new accounts while managing existing customers. The candidate should be active in the market, comfortable visiting clients and sites, and able to work closely with internal teams to convert opportunities into profitable sales. We are looking for someone who understands the electrical materials business, not a general sales profile. Preferred Experience Previous experience with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, industrial, infrastructure, or major EPC projects Existing relationships with contractors, consultants, procurement teams, and electrical material traders in Saudi Arabia Experience with vendor registration, product approvals, and consultant/client prequalification processes Background in electrical material manufacturing, trading, or distribution Required Qualifications: Minimum +8 years of sales experience in electrical materials, preferably in Saudi Arabia Strong experience selling to EPC contractors, MEP contractors, electrical contractors, industrial clients, utilities, and electrical traders Good knowledge of one or more of the following product areas: ◦ Earthing and grounding systems ◦ Lightning protection systems ◦ Exothermic welding products ◦ Cable management systems ◦ Cable glands and cable lugs ◦ Low-voltage electrical materials and accessories Ability to understand BOQs, project specifications, technical submittals, and client approval requirements Proven ability to generate new business, develop customer relationships, and close profitable orders Strong negotiation, follow-up, and commercial judgment Good understanding of pricing, margins, credit terms, and collection follow-up Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred Strong English communication skills Valid Saudi driving license is preferred Willingness to travel across Saudi Arabia as required Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Other Department / Functional Area SalesBusiness Development Keywords Key Account ManagementTeam LeadershipRevenue GrowthElectrical Materials SalesCommercial Manager - ElectricalElectrical Industry Knowledge Get real-time job updates only on our App
