Senior Sales Manager GAS
Job Overview
Develop and implement sales action plans for the GAS markets in line with revenue targets and commercial priorities. Manage and grow relationships with key tour operators, travel agencies, wholesalers and other relevant trade partners. Identify and secure new business opportunities while strengthening production from existing accounts. Lead account negotiations and coordinate contracting with hotel sales and revenue teams, ensuring alignment with pricing strategies and business objectives. Plan and conduct sales calls, client meetings, product presentations, roadshows and market visits. Represent Rixos Hotels & All-Inclusive Collection at relevant trade shows, exhibitions and networking events. Organise familiarisation trips and site inspections to showcase the portfolio and support business conversion. Monitor account production, booking trends, competitor activity and market developments, recommending actions to improve performance. Collaborate with marketing and distribution teams on targeted campaigns and promotional opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM records, account development plans, sales forecasts and activity reports. Coordinate with property teams to ensure a smooth handover of confirmed business and consistent service to partners. Manage sales activities and travel within the allocated budget.
Desired Candidate Profile
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, are essential. Proven experience in hotel sales, with responsibility for the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. A strong understanding of the GAS travel trade, distribution channels and booking behaviour. An established network of relevant tour operators, travel agencies and commercial partners. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, developing key accounts and generating new business. Experience within luxury hospitality, resorts or all-inclusive hotels is highly desirable. Strong negotiation, presentation, relationship management and communication skills. A commercially focused approach, with the ability to analyse performance and translate insights into action. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Willingness and ability to travel internationally for business. A degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
