Senior Site Engineer (Joinery & Woodworks) - Maldives

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage and supervise all joinery and interior fit-out activities at site. Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Coordinate with Project Manager, Production Team, QA/QC, Consultants, and Clients. Review shop drawings and resolve technical issues before installation. Monitor daily site activities and ensure project milestones are achieved. Plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements. Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained. Coordinate material deliveries and installation schedules with the factory and logistics teams. Attend project meetings and provide progress updates. Monitor subcontractors and installation teams to ensure compliance with project requirements. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Identify and resolve site-related issues to avoid delays. Verify completed works for billing, snagging, and handover activities. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Joinery, Woodworks, Interior Fit-Out, or Furniture Manufacturing projects. Strong knowledge of joinery production and installation processes. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical drawings. Experience managing site installation teams and subcontractors. Strong coordination skills with factory, production, and project departments. Knowledge of QA/QC requirements and site inspections. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office. GCC experience preferred. Valid driving license is an advantage.
