Senior Software Developer (Java)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities This role is suited to individuals with strong backend expertise who enjoy working on complex, distributed systems using modern Java frameworks, cloud technologies, and microservices architectures. The position follows a hybrid working model and offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale, business-critical platforms within a global environment. What you ll do Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications for enterprise-wide platforms. Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security. Develop solutions to complex technical problems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Work with Java 8 or Java 17 environments, applying modern language features and best practices. Implement containerised services using Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate within CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient build, test, and deployment processes. Contribute to cloud-based deployments and services, with exposure to AWS environments. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to business needs. Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Who you are You have strong hands-on experience with Java and enterprise application development. You are comfortable working with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. You have familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
