Senior Software Quality Control Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Money Fellows is transforming how people save, borrow, and invest. As the world s first and largest Money Circles app, we ve digitized the traditional ROSCA model to make it smarter, safer, and more accessible. Since 2018 , we ve empowered over 7 million users to take control of their financial futures with confidence. Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, software engineers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and define test objectives. Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, considering functional and non-functional requirements, to ensure thorough test coverage. Identify appropriate testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively validate software applications within the fintech domain. Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. Report and track software defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and closure. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance standards, methodologies, and best practices. Communicate test progress, test results, and quality-related metrics to stakeholders, providing insights into software quality and test coverage. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in software quality control, software testing, or a related role. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as Jera, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies. Experience in designing and executing test cases and test scripts, and reporting defects using defect tracking tools. Understanding of various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. Experience in test automation frameworks and writing automated test scripts. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes. Understanding of the fintech industry, its regulations, compliance requirements, and security best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
