Senior System Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Managing Windows and Linux server environments, including installation, patching, hardening, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Administering Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file servers, user access controls, and privileged accounts. Managing storage infrastructure including SAN/NAS, iSCSI, RAID, redundancy, performance monitoring, and backup integration for clinical systems. Supporting backup, disaster recovery, and data protection activities, including scheduled backups, EMR/database restoration testing, backup verification, and DR documentation. Managing PKI and certificate services, including internal certificates, OpenSSL certificate creation, SSL renewal, RADIUS authentication, and certificate lifecycle management. Supporting enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure, including WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise, RADIUS authentication, certificate-based access, VLAN assignment, and secure wireless access controls. Managing network infrastructure including switches, VLANs, trunk/access ports, STP/RSTP, loop prevention, redundant uplinks, firewall connectivity, VPN, and failover testing. Monitoring IT systems and responding to incidents, alerts, security issues, system failures, and performance problems. Maintaining IT documentation, asset inventory, network diagrams, backup reports, restoration test evidence, and audit compliance records. Desired Candidate Profile Windows Server, Linux Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file server, patching, and server hardening. Storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, iSCSI, RAID, storage redundancy, and performance monitoring. Backup and disaster recovery solutions, including EMR/database backup, restoration testing, backup reporting, and disaster recovery documentation. Enterprise wireless infrastructure, including RADIUS-based authentication, certificate-based Wi-Fi, VLANs, and access control.
