Senior Systems Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Active Directory Administration Administer and maintain Domain Controllers, (OUs) & User and Group Management Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory replication and authentication issues. Conduct routine AD health checks and maintenance activities. Support domain security hardening and compliance initiatives. Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID is a plus. Group Policy Management Design, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs). Implement security policies and system restrictions using GPOs. Enterprise Veeam Backup Administration Administer and manage Enterprise Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure. Conduct restores testing and disaster recovery exercises and optimize backup performance. Manage backup repositories, retention policies, and storage utilization. Infrastructure Support & Monitoring Monitor server Domain Controller & Backup infrastructure availability and performance. Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support for infrastructure-related incidents. Desired Candidate Profile Education and Certification – Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in System Administration or Infrastructure Support roles. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent Microsoft certifications Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) Qualifications Knowledge and Skills Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) Windows Server Administration Veeam Backup & Replication Understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts. Knowledge of infrastructure security best practices. Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge is an advantage. Familiarity with virtualization and storage technologies. Skills Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Good problem-solving and incident management capabilities. Effective communication and technical documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
