Senior Technology Lead – Java & Cloud

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation • Manage the team and successfully deliver the project • Coordinate across back-end services and client-end (desktop and mobile) application layers • Work closely with the product owner and enterprise architects to influence and prioritize technical backlog items • Proactively discover technical debt and continuous improvement opportunities in existing live systems • Deliver architectures for large-scale software solutions meeting critical business purposes Desired Candidate Profile • Senior professional with 10-12 years of experience • Working experience in an agile software development environment with a good understanding of agile architecture principles • Strong technical skills with deep understanding of modern architectural styles: Microservices, Containers, Cloud (AWS, Azure), APIs, Continuous Delivery, Event-driven architecture, Evolutionary architecture • Strong foundation in software architecture concepts, patterns, principles, and quality attributes • Proven leadership skills with a proactive, positive, and growth mindset; ability to foster and motivate programmers • Experience delivering architectures for large software solutions meeting critical business purposes • Proficient in Java & Java EE, with strong knowledge of its ecosystem and ability to write reusable components/Java libraries • Deep familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google), Serverless architecture, and Cloud Native solutions • Experience with AWS services: API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Lambda Authorizer, Kinesis, IAM, SAM • AWS Developer Certification • Work experience in Python • Work experience in front-end technologies such as Angular/React/Vue/Flutter, with knowledge of Node JS • Familiarity with OOPS, MVC, JDBC, RESTful, JSON, and Swagger Open API specification • Experience with microservices orchestration (choreography, orchestration, state machines), service mesh, authentication/authorization (IdP, OAuth2), testing patterns and automation, and app reliability (Monitoring, Logging, Observability) • Experience in NoSQL (Mongo preferable) and RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL); ability to write complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions • Experience designing and creating database schemas that support business processes • Work experience in Spring framework (Spring Core, Spring Batch, AOP, Spring Data, Spring JDBC, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive) and Hibernate ORM • Working experience in Spring Security and OAuth2 implementation • Experience with messaging technologies: JMS, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, and Apache Kafka • Experience with container-based architecture: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) • Proficient with code versioning tools: Azure Repo, Bitbucket, Git, GitLab • Familiarity with build tools: Ant, Maven, Gradle Employment Type Contract Company Industry IT - Software Services Department / Functional Area Software DevelopmentApplication Development (IT Software) Keywords JavaJava EESpring BootSpring SecurityHibernateMicroservicesAWSAzureKubernetesDockerKafkaRESTful APIsSwaggerOAuth2CI/CDJenkinsGitLabPythonAngularReactNode JSMongoDBOraclePostgreSQLAgile Get real-time job updates only on our App
