Service Delivery Lead - Database Specialty

We are seeking skilled Service Delivery Engineer to lead the Database practice specialized in AWS. As an experienced SDE you will be responsible for implementing and delivering cloud solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for translating the requirements, as defined in the Statement of Work, into a functioning solution Assist in the design, configuration, implementation, and support of database solutions on AWS Providing Level 2 and Level 3 support on database related operational and configuration issues Develop, define, and maintain standards and supporting documentation while adhering to best practices Work both independently and collaboratively with other Zero&One and client team members when required Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent judgement, and possess a passion for continuous learning Deliver innovative solutions in diverse environment with shifting priorities, wearing many hats all while driving projects and tasks to completion Transition existing workloads to the cloud where possible Research emerging technologies and concepts and make recommendations

Desired Candidate Profile

At least 7+ years of experience in designing and maintaining databases (relational and non-relational) Experience of relational database operations (locking, consistency, serialization, recovery paths etc ) Knowledge of scripting languages such as shell/python and procedural language such as PL/SQL, T-SQL etc ) Experience working with MySQL, Postgres, SQL, Oracle, DynamoDB, Aurora DBs Database tuning Creating clusters and sharding Preferable to have experience in MongoDB Atlas Required certifications: AWS Database Specialty Desirable certifications
