Software Developer

Company: Business & Beyond (B&B) About the Role We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Software Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications, web-based platforms, websites, and digital solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong programming fundamentals, practical development experience, and the ability to independently develop software solutions, investigate technical issues, and resolve complex challenges. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement new software applications, web-based systems, and digital solutions. Review, understand, enhance, and maintain existing software applications and codebases. Develop new features, modules, workflows, and system integrations. Design, develop, and maintain professional, responsive websites. Independently investigate, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues. Develop and manage databases, APIs, and third-party integrations. Perform software testing, optimization, and performance improvements. Manage source code, version control, and repositories using Git and GitHub. Support application deployment, hosting configuration, and technical maintenance. Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into functional software solutions. Maintain technical documentation and follow software development best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 2 years of hands-on professional experience in software development, preferably involving full-stack web applications. Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development frameworks. Practical experience in frontend and backend development. Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and API integrations. Proficiency in Git, GitHub, and version control. Good understanding of software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of application deployment, hosting environments, and server configurations. Experience with Docker, Linux, or cloud hosting environments is an advantage.
