Software Tester - QA

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases for payment applications, terminals, backend systems, and APIs. Compliance Testing: Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing to confirm software meets strict business and technical requirements. Transaction Validation: Verify transaction accuracy across card processing, mobile payments, and backend settlement systems. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, coordinating with developers for resolution. Security & Performance: Validate the security, performance, and compatibility of electronic payment systems in alignment with organizational standards. Quality Documentation: Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports with outcomes and recommendations. Release Support: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support post-release validation to ensure smooth deployment transitions. Desired Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Experience: 3 5 years in software testing (Electronic Payments/FinTech background required). Skills: SQL for data validation, API testing (Postman), and knowledge of card payment standards. Languages: Arabic & Fluent English. Location: Candidates must be based inside Qatar only. Working Days: 5 days per week. Salary Range: Package 7,000 QAR to 10,000 QAR (Gross monthly). The package includes Basic Salary, Housing Allowance, and Transportation Allowance, in addition to other benefits.
