Software Tester

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and work closely with developers to ensure our software meets high standards of quality and reliability. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and reproduce issues Perform regression, integration, and system testing on software releases Validate database interactions and data integrity using MySQL Report test results and metrics to stakeholders Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to process improvements Required Qualifications: 0–5 years of experience in software testing or related role Proven expertise in manual testing methodologies Hands-on experience with C++ and Java Proficiency in C and Python scripting for test automation support Experience validating database functionality with MySQL Strong understanding of software development life cycle and QA best practices Attention to detail and ability to document defects clearly Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) ISTQB or equivalent QA certification Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills Basic knowledge of performance or security testing.
