Specification Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer

Position: Specification Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer Summary: Drive project sales, provide technical expertise, and ensure alignment with international standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive project sales and brand specification for piping and plumbing systems across building, infrastructure, and industrial sectors throughout Iraq
• Provide technical expertise and design support to MEP consultants, main contractors, developers, and key project stakeholders
• Review project specifications, tender drawings, and BOQs to ensure alignment with product range and international quality standards
• Conduct technical presentations, product approvals, and seminars for engineering consultants and regulatory authorities
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and track upcoming mega-projects within the Iraqi MEP sector

Requirements

Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline 5 8 years of professional experience in Iraq within an MEP consultancy, contractor, or technical sales role, with a core focus on plumbing and piping systems (design, specification, and execution) Proven capability in reviewing BOQs, technical submittals, and tender specifications Strong understanding of international plumbing codes, water supply, drainage, and related MEP systems Established network among MEP consultants and Tier-1 contractors in Iraq Excellent technical communication and presentation abilities Desired Candidate Profile
