Staff Software Engineer

I'm partnering with them to hire multiple Staff Software Engineer to help design and deliver bespoke AI-powered solutions for organisations tackling complex, high-impact challenges. They're brought in when internal teams are stuck, when speed matters, and when the problem isn't clearly defined yet. Why this role stands out? This isn't about maintaining one product, you will: design and build AI-enabled software that solves real operational problems turn ambiguous challenges into working systems deliver meaningful progress in weeks, not months work across industries and technical environments help organisations unlock productivity and automation through applied AI What might you work on? automating workflows using AI and intelligent agents building operational tools and decision systems integrating modern AI capabilities into enterprise systems designing scalable architectures for rapid delivery The team works in client environments, so adaptability matters. The focus is solving the problem not pushing a specific stack. Desired Candidate Profile Exceptional hands-on engineering ability and pride in clean, production-ready code Full-stack mindset and ability to learn new technologies quickly Comfort working in ambiguity and solving unfamiliar problems Ownership, initiative, and strong problem-solving instincts Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate needs into solutions The environment is tech agnostic, so strong engineers comfortable working across different stacks are ideal, with experience in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or React particularly valuable. AI product experience isn't required, but you should have a point of view on how AI is changing software engineering and be curious enough to explore new tools and workflows.
