Supervisor (Painting / Coating) (Walkin - Mumbai, Chennai & Kochi)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Supervise blasting, painting, coating, insulation, and fireproofing works at site Ensure proper surface preparation (SA 2.5), coating application, and finishing Supervise pipeline, equipment, tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, columns, and structural coating Handle field joint coating (FJC) and repair activities Monitor DFT, WFT, insulation thickness, and coating parameters Implement QCP, ITP, and approved method statements Conduct quality audits and coordinate inspections with QA/QC Perform holiday testing, surface profile checks, and inspection approvals Maintain calibration of inspection instruments (DFT gauge, holiday detector, dew meter, surface profile gauge) Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point) Ensure proper material inspection, storage, preservation, and documentation (MTC, MSDS, delivery notes) Plan manpower, materials, and equipment as per project schedule Optimize resource utilization for timely completion Supervise subcontractors and work crews Participate in client progress meetings Monitor project schedules, shutdown and live plant activities Maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation Support invoice preparation and contract monitoring Identify issues and implement corrective and preventive actions Ensure HSE compliance, PTW procedures, and PPE usage - Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safety procedures Key Skills & Expertise: Strong expertise in blasting, painting, coating, insulation, and fireproofing Experience in pipeline, process facilities, tanks, vessels, and structural coating Exposure to brownfield, shutdown, and live plant projects Ability to read Isometric drawings, P&ID;, and specifications Knowledge of method statements, ITP, QCP implementation - Familiar with international coating standards and procedures Strong manpower handling and leadership skills Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination (mechanical, piping, civil) Strong planning, scheduling, and execution capability Knowledge of quality control procedures and audits Trained in Permit to Work (Hot work, Cold work, Confined space) and Work at Height Desired Candidate Profile Gradute/Diploma/ITI 5–8 years experience in relevant field Strong experience in pipeline coating (3LPE, FBE, FJC), blasting & painting Knowledge of NACE / SSPC / ISO standards Gulf experience preferred (ADNOC advantage) NACE / BGAS / SSPC certification preferred Eligibility Criteria ✔ Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore ✔ Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred ✔ Clean-shaven policy applicable ✔ Candidates must be immediate joiners ❌ Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible Attached JDs for your reference. Age Criteria: Maximum age limit is 49 years For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience Managerial and SR.
