Supply Chain Expert

We are looking for a heavy-hitting Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Projects leader to help reshape and elevate our global network. This isn't a transactional, day-to-day buying role. We are looking for a corporate architect someone who can look at raw data, design robust category strategies, optimize a complex global logistics footprint, and act as a strategic advisor to our broader business. If you are a master of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and love driving continuous optimization in highly regulated spaces, this playground is for you. The Mission: Strategic Sourcing & Category Leadership: Lead end-to-end RFQs, contract negotiations, and category strategies spanning APIs, packaging, global logistics, and warehousing. Network Optimization: Analyze and benchmark global transportation and distribution costs to transform our external supply chain operating models. Data & Digitalization: Build spend visibility dashboards, standardize procurement analytics, and use tools like Power BI to turn complex data into actionable executive decisions. Capability Building: Act as an internal educator, helping cross-functional teams (Finance, Quality, Regulatory) adopt a value-driven, structured procurement mindset.

Desired Candidate Profile

Who You Are: Regulated Industry Expert: You bring 10+ years of strategic procurement experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare, or high-compliance FMCG/CPG environments. Diverse Category Depth: You have successfully managed both complex direct categories (like APIs) and heavy indirect/logistics categories (freight, warehousing). Analytical Powerhouse: You love data validation, benchmarking, and building business cases from scratch using Excel, Power BI, or advanced analytics platforms. A Change Agent: You know how to diplomatically challenge the status quo, align global stakeholders, and embed robust SLA/KPI governance. Bonus Points For: Deep familiarity with GDP/GMP compliance environments. A background in management consulting or high-growth procurement transformations. CIPS, APICS, CPSM, or equivalent certifications.
