Survey Engineer

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking a skilled and experienced Survey Engineer to join our team. The Survey Engineer will be responsible for managing and verifying surveying activities for infrastructure construction projects, ensuring accurate setting out, control points, levels, alignments, as-built surveys, and survey documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in land surveying, geomatics, infrastructure construction, and site coordination. Responsibilities: Review and verify survey data, benchmarks, control points, coordinates, setting-out records, levels, profiles, cross-sections, and as-built survey information. Supervise and coordinate topographic surveys, setting-out works, alignment checks, utility surveys, and construction verification surveys. Ensure survey activities are performed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, coordinate systems, and quality requirements. Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, design teams, document control, and supervision teams to ensure accurate survey records and construction references. Review survey reports, field measurements, as-built records, and drawing updates for completeness and accuracy. Support resolution of discrepancies between site conditions, design drawings, survey data, and as-built submissions. Prepare survey review comments, technical observations, progress updates, and verification records. Provide recommendations for improving survey control, documentation accuracy, and as-built verification processes. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven work experience of at least 5 to 7 years in land surveying, infrastructure projects, roads, utilities, and construction supervision. In-depth knowledge of topographic surveys, setting out, benchmarks, control points, levels, coordinates, alignment checks, and as-built surveys. Proficiency in using total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels, survey software, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and data processing tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail in reviewing survey information and construction records. Excellent communication and coordination skills with contractors, engineers, designers, and document control teams. Surveying and infrastructure construction experience, preferably fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
