Systems Administrator I - Secret Clearance

Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include, but is not limited to, Active Directory Organization Units (OU), objects (Users, Computers, MAB), security groups, Windows File Server, Network Policy Server (NPS), Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Print Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), Application Servers such as GemOne. Modify, and deactivate user accounts as necessary. Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft servers on NIPR, SIPR, and SIPR-REL. Use of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) as directed. Utilize vSphere clients to conduct snapshots and monitor system availability. Perform regular maintenance, installing IAVA approved patches to enforce server security and maintain system availability. Maintains system hardening by following DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Perform SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol) scans of servers and workstations to ensure STIG compliance. Upload the resulting CKLB files to eMASS as directed by IA. Utilize AESMP ticketing system to document troubleshooting steps prior to completing and or escalating to the next level of support. Performs other duties and assignments assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications Security Clearance: Requires an active Secret Clearance. Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High school diploma required. Associates Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field preferred. This position requires candidates to adhere to DoD 8570.01M. All candidates are required to maintain at least one (1) baseline certification and one (1) computing environment (CE) certification. Baseline certifications cannot also be used as a Computing Environment (CE) certification. Experience

The Systems Administrator I is required to be an expert in all functions of both IAT Level I and IAT Level II positions relating to a Windows Server operating system environment. The Systems Administrator I must be able to apply extensive knowledge of a variety of the IA field s concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure the secure integration and operation of all enclaves (NIPR, SIPR, etc.) systems. Must be able to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals for the enclave environment. have at least five (5) years of practical experience working with Windows Server 2012 or higher operating systems (OS) and Active Directory tools. Candidate must possess a basic understanding of security principles and their application to an enterprise AD environment. Experience with a customer service-oriented company. Skills & Technology Used: Proficiency in using a computer - desktop or laptop. Proficiency in using Microsoft productivity software. Proficiency in using Email client software. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server administration (2019/2022). Proficiency in Active Directory. Proficiency in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Proficiency in printer management and support of network-connected devices. Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation. Proficiency with DoD security and compliance requirements (STIGs). Proficiency with VMware vSphere virtualization environments. You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country to include but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a host nation visa and host nation driver s license in order to be qualified for this position.
