Systems Engineer Specialist (Linux)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Job Description: Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux / DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Linux administration, cloud platforms, automation, virtualization, containerization, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure environments while supporting automation and DevOps initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and servers. Implement Linux security hardening, access controls, and compliance standards. Automate operational and administrative tasks using scripting languages and automation tools. Deploy and manage virtualization and containerized environments. Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health. Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. Support cloud infrastructure deployments across multi-cloud environments. Manage logging, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Linux System Administration or DevOps Engineering. Relevant certifications such as RHCE, LPIC-2, CKA, and ITIL Foundation are preferred.
