Technical Compliance & Regulations Analyst(GRC)

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Develop and implement robust GRC frameworks to ensure alignment with evolving global and local regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and SOX. Conduct in-depth risk assessments and control testing to identify vulnerabilities in IT systems and processes, recommending practical remediation strategies. Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable technical controls and policies, ensuring clear understanding and adoption across engineering and product teams. Manage and maintain compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and evidence of controls, preparing for internal and external audits. Desired Candidate Profile We are looking for a Technical Compliance & Regulations Analyst with the below requirements: Should have 4-5 Years of experience in IT/Technology project management, with a minimum of 3 Years of experience in Banking Industry (BFSI). Candidates who also have background on Security Compliance, ISO27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc. will be preferred. Core responsibilities of the role include identifying compliance and customer requirements and updating existing narratives to explain our internal security control mechanisms. Ensuring continuous compliance of Group Technology to technical regulatory requirements. Creating and implementing quality systems improvement in the regulatory tool to ensure the data completeness as required. Ensuring compliance reports are properly maintained in the tool & published regularly to stakeholders. Maintaining and updating internal documentation, processes, and policies. Coordinating regulatory compliance procedures across organizational structures. Keeping up to date on regulatory changes and developments in the BFSI regulatory environment. Should have prior experience with COBIT, ITIL, NIST, NESA & international banking regulatory technical standards. Ability to translate regulatory requirements and indicate applicability to banking environment. Identify and formalize key requirements in each regulation and continuously strive to update the UCF. Monitor new regulatory updates and analyze the impact to UCF and internal policies / procedures. Proactively notify stakeholders of the impact of the regulatory requirement. Hands on experience with handling data to make meaningful extracts based on requirements provided by stakeholders from time to time. Be able to highlight thematic impact of regulations / across countries, Education and experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or in the field of regulatory specialization. 5+ years’ experience in a relevant industry. 3+ years’ experience as a regulatory compliance specialist. Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to effectively negotiate with regulatory, technical, and finance professionals. Ability to read, analyze and interpret information as it pertains to Technology compliance-related functions and regulations.
