Technical Manager
Job Description Roles & Responsibilities Manage and supervise all technical activities related to civil and architectural construction projects. Review and approve construction drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation. Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Provide technical guidance and support to project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, and planning teams. Lead design coordination meetings and monitor design changes, RFIs, and technical clarifications. Review architectural and structural drawings to identify and resolve conflicts before construction. Monitor project progress from a technical perspective and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and productivity. Evaluate construction methodologies and value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs and timelines. Ensure proper implementation of approved architectural finishes, materials, and construction techniques. Support tendering and pre-construction activities by reviewing technical requirements and project specifications. Liaise with authorities, consultants, and clients for approvals and technical submissions. Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are updated and compliant with company procedures. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 10+ years of experience in civil construction projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural construction practices. Experience in managing high-rise, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Primavera P6, and other construction management software. Excellent understanding of UAE construction standards, authority regulations, and building codes. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
