Technical Office Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical & commercial proposals for Data Center projects
• Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules
• Review of tender documents on receipt to ensure their completeness
• Submit completed tender proposals to meet customer deadlines
• Work with our sales team to professionally represent the company at a customer, gather data, and ask the right questions to define a project
• Attend clarification meetings with the client when required
• Be familiar with Data Center specifications, standards, and market requirements
• Cost analysis and estimating
• Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities
• Prepare weekly and Monthly reports to his direct manager
• Obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary
• Comparison Studies based on suppliers' quotations
• Additional duties may be assigned, as required

Qualifications

• Negotiations Skills
• Communications Skills
• Experience in dealing with complex tenders, preferably Data Center projects
• General MS Office Program skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Drawing
• Experience in Data Center infrastructure and systems is preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
