Technical Team Lead Backend and Full Stack

Lead and mentor developers, review code, and establish consistent engineering standards while contributing to complex features. Own backend architecture and technical decisions, balancing scalability, security, maintainability, and delivery priorities. Partner with Product and Project Manager to clarify requirements, estimate work, plan technical tasks, and communicate risks and dependencies. Develop APIs and third-party integrations, including payment service provider connections and transaction workflows. Ensure reliable transaction processing through idempotency, failure recovery, reconciliation, and accurate, auditable financial data. Guide frontend integration and collaborate with frontend developers on secure, usable business applications. Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and Security on automated testing, CI/CD, release readiness, and production support. Investigate incidents, improve performance and monitoring, manage technical debt, and maintain architecture and API documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience with payment gateways, PSP integrations, forex or fintech platforms including settlements, reconciliation, multi-currency processing, or cryptocurrency payments. Cloud infrastructure experience such as AWS and operating highly available production systems. Familiarity with tools such as Drizzle ORM, BullMQ, and Vault or equivalent technologies.
