Test Automation Engineer (Mid-Senior)

We are hiring on behalf of a large multinational organisation building out its enterprise quality engineering capability in Egypt. The role sits within a dedicated test automation function and blends hands-on delivery with technical leadership. It suits a strong automation engineer ready to own complex suites, drive framework scalability, and mentor others. What the Role Involves You will take ownership of designing complex automation across SAP, web, and mobile, keeping frameworks scalable and maintainable. Alongside the hands-on work, you will mentor junior engineers, review code and test strategy, and partner with cross-functional teams to align automation with business and technical goals. Day to day, you will: Lead the design of complex automation suites across SAP, web, and mobile. Own framework scalability and maintainability. Mentor junior engineers through code and test-strategy reviews. Coordinate automation planning with cross-functional teams. Evaluate and introduce new automation tools and technologies. Carry out performance and scalability testing.

Desired Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 3 to 5 years of development experience. Proven experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright and Appium, and/or enterprise tools such as UFT. Performance testing experience (JMeter, LoadRunner, or Azure Load Testing) is a plus. Track record of planning and delivering tests in multi-vendor, international environments. Experience with eCommerce platforms such as SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Magento is a strong advantage. DevOps and CI/CD toolset and processes are essential. Agile SDLC experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence is a plus. Strong mentoring, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills. Compensation and Benefits Monthly gross salary: EGP 64,000 to 71,000 (see note below to confirm). 10% annual bonus, with 14 months guaranteed per year.
