Treasury Accountant

A Treasury Accountant with experience in Letters of Credit (LC) and Letters of Guarantee (LG) is responsible for managing treasury operations, banking facilities, cash flow, and trade finance transactions. Manage day-to-day treasury and banking operations. Handle the issuance, amendment, renewal, cancellation, and settlement of Letters of Credit (LC) and Letters of Guarantee (LG). Maintain and update LC/LG trackers, including expiry dates, payment due dates, renewals, and cancellations. Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding LC and LG requirements. Prepare and submit LC/LG applications and supporting documents through online banking or manual processes. Monitor LC payments, bank guarantee commissions, charges, margins, and facility utilization. Follow up for the timely return and cancellation of bank guarantees.

Desired Candidate Profile

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification is a plus. Possesses 2-5 years of experience in treasury or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of treasury operations and financial instruments. Employment Type Full-time
